Responsible Drinking Program
The Responsible Drinking Program was launched in partnership with the Society of Midwives of South Africa (SOMSA). This initiative educates and promotes responsible drinking behaviours, emphasising moderation and abstinence from alcohol during pregnancy, while also raising awareness about alcohol and substance abuse.

The program is implemented in two ways:
-
one targeting expectant mothers in local clinics and hospitals, providing them educational brochures and kangaroo wraps, and
-
the other focusing on South Africa's youth, who are at risk of alcohol dependency, by distributing advocacy materials in schools and taverns to address societal issues such as teenage pregnancy and gender-based violence that are exacerbated by alcohol abuse.
